Terms of Service
By using Betachaw you agree to these terms. The App Store listing also uses Apple’s standard EULA. A lawyer should review this before we scale. Contact: help@betachaw.com.
The service
Betachaw is a local delivery marketplace. We start with restaurants. Other shops (pharmacy, grocery, and more) appear when we turn them on. Delivery areas are limited. If we do not serve your address, checkout will not complete.
Accounts
You sign in with a Nigerian phone number. You are responsible for that number and for orders placed on the account.
Orders and payment
Prices are in naira. Payment is processed by Paystack (card, transfer, or other methods they offer) or your Betachaw wallet. We do not store full card numbers. An order is sent to a kitchen only after payment succeeds. Failed payments do not create a kitchen ticket.
Kitchens and riders
Kitchens prepare the items. Independent riders pick up and deliver. We are not the restaurant and we are not a courier company that employs every rider. If something is wrong with the food, contact Support in the app so we can refund or reorder where the rules allow.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel until a rider has picked up the bag, subject to the status shown in the app. If the kitchen has started, we may refund minus a small service fee. Refunds go to your Betachaw wallet or back through Paystack, depending on how you paid.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse Support, create fake orders, or use the app for anything illegal. We can suspend an account that does.
Liability
Delivery times are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, closed kitchens, or a rider we cannot assign. Our liability for a paid order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
